Hummus á la SimSim

Hummus, the quintessence of the Middle East, is a popular starter that is served with the thin, rag-like pita bread and eaten with other mezze.

*vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free.


  • 10 gr. salt
  • 800 gr. cooked chickpeas
  • 2 dl. Olive oil
  • 200 gr. Tahini
  • 1 dl. lemon juice

Here we go!

  1. Prepare the ingredients for the hummus.
  2. Pour into a bowl and mix with a blender to a creamy mixture.
  3. Add some olive oil to the finished hummus and garnish with a few chickpeas.
